Competing for a Cause
CU on the Run combines competition with a meaningful cause, encouraging teams to set a blistering pace and maximize donations.
The Rules
- Participating credit unions may enter one or more teams.
- For the purpose of calculating donations, the total time for each credit union’s fastest team will be counted.
- Each team must consist of four runners, with each runner completing the full quarter marathon.
- A single runner can only contribute their time for one of the team’s legs.
- Similarly, a single runner can only run for one team.
- All runners must be active employees of the credit union from the registration deadline through race day.
The Stakes
- In addition to registration fees, each credit union will chip a fixed donation per competing team to be presented to the Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation.
- The slower credit unions will increase their donations for each minute they are behind the winning credit union’s finish time – capped at 75 minutes.
- The total amount raised will be presented to the Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation on behalf of participating credit unions.
- Bragging Rights: Anyone can visit your credit union’s website to check your products, rates, and fees, but where do they go to find out what really matters – which Oklahoma credit union is the fastest? That’s where CU on Run comes in.
